After nearly 25 years, I can still say that the real estate profession is one that excites me. The changes and challenges over the years stimulate my enthusiasm in working with Sellers and Buyers . It is my sincere desire to help make the buying and selling experience one of pleasure and satisfaction for each of my clients...Emma

Hello!

Thank you for joining us. Charles Von Boven III is a seven-year-old black mini-schnauzer. We lost our family's beloved "Golden", November of 2000, a month before we were to leave for a Christmas trip to NYC. It was sternly put to "the boys" that we would NOT be getting another dog before our trip; that it would be a female canine of no less than two years of age. On December 8th of 2000, we brought home "Chuck" the pup.

In Chuck's favor, he is very, very cute. His biggest drawback is that he has no hands. Which leaves me to type his bio and his blog, some of the thoughts expressed may not be his own.

"The boys" are Jonathan and Robert, two of the most wonderfully astonishing creations on earth...that just happen to be my sons. Jonathan is an airplane captain based in NYC; flying under the Delta banner. Robert is a college student at the U of M, sometimes in Minneapolis and sometimes in Spain.

I am...several years older than Chuck. A veteran of over 20 years in real estate sales: 17 years as "Laird Realty" in a neighboring town, then 5 years representing Buyers only upon my move to Yankton. When "the boys" were older, I merged my company with another; then joined ReMax last year, which is now America's Best Realty.

As for the dry facts: I was first in the community to earn her Accredited Buyers Representative designation and now hold a Certified Residential Specialist designation as well. (These are comparable to getting a master degree after your bachelor degree.) Elected as a Director for the South Dakota Board of Realtors 5 years ago, I am currently serving as State Membership Services Chairman. I was chosen People's Choice for Real Estate Agent in 2006 and in the top 3 in 2007, as well as being nominated for the local board's Realtor of the Year. In 2008 I was inducted into Yankton High School Hall of Fame.

Volunteer activity includes: Yankton Chamber Ambassador and Annual Meeting Chair (2006 and 2009), "Banquet", Habitat for Humanity (Through UCC Congregational Church), "Meals on Wheels", Yankton [Senior] Center CORE (Chores or Repairs for the Elderly) volunteer, Keep Yankton Beautiful Board Director.

Hobbies...when there is time!: Gardening, entertaining at home, refurbishing or refinishing a range of things from garage sale items to furniture (all of which is subject to being placed in a listing), helping other agents prepare a listing for sale.

That's enough of that! Hope you enjoy my website and find it helpful in a variety of areas. If another business appears on any of my personal pages, it is my goal to make the business local, for your convenience, and always someone with whom I have shared a positive experience. Would love your feedback!

Enjoy your day!
